Creating countdowns is easy:

1. Tap the + button
2. Type a phrase like "trip in 3 weeks" and let the app read the date, or pick one yourself
3. Enter the event title and select the date
4. Choose a card style (Clean, Gradient, Bold, Glass, Neon, or 3D)
5. Customize the icon and color
6. Tap Save to create your countdown

💡 Tip: You can also import dates straight from your calendar for quick setup.

You can count down to any future event:

• Birthdays and anniversaries
• Vacations and trips
• Weddings and graduations
• Holidays
• Deadlines and exams
• Sports events and concerts
• Any custom date you choose

You can also count up from past events to track milestones like sobriety, relationships, or career achievements.

Countdowns includes 6 beautiful card styles, all available on every plan:

Live Activities show your countdown on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island:

1. Open an event's detail view
2. Tap Start Live Activity
3. The countdown appears on your Lock Screen
4. On iPhone 14 Pro and later, it also shows on Dynamic Island

• Choose notification time and frequency

1. Long-press on your Home Screen until apps jiggle
2. Tap the + button in the top left
3. Search for "Countdowns"
4. Choose your widget size (Small, Medium, or Large)
5. Tap Add Widget
6. Long-press the widget and tap Edit Widget to choose which event to display

1. Long-press on your Lock Screen
2. Tap Customize
3. Tap the widget area below the time
4. Find Countdowns and add a widget
5. Available in circular, rectangular, and inline styles

On iOS 17+, Countdowns works beautifully in StandBy mode:

1. Connect your iPhone to a charger
2. Turn it horizontally (landscape)
3. Swipe to the Widgets view in StandBy
4. Long-press and tap + to add Countdowns

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period. Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple Account settings.

1. Open Countdowns
2. Go to Settings
3. Scroll down and tap Restore Purchases
4. Sign in with the Apple Account used for the original purchase

Your plan should restore within a few seconds.

Subscriptions are managed through Apple:

1. Open Settings on your iPhone
2. Tap your name at the top
3. Tap Subscriptions
4. Find Countdowns and tap it
5. Tap Cancel Subscription

You'll keep access until the end of your current billing period. The Lifetime plan is a one time purchase, so there is nothing to cancel.

Try these steps:

1. Open Countdowns to refresh data
2. Remove and re-add the widget
3. Restart your iPhone
4. Check that Background App Refresh is enabled for Countdowns

1. Ensure you have an active internet connection
2. Check that iCloud is enabled: Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud
3. Make sure you're using the same Apple ID on all devices
4. Force close and reopen the app
5. Wait a few minutes - sync can sometimes take time

1. Go to Settings > Notifications > Countdowns
2. Ensure notifications are enabled
3. Check that you've set notification preferences for the event
4. Make sure Do Not Disturb isn't blocking notifications

1. Close other apps running in the background
2. Restart your device
3. Ensure you have the latest version of Countdowns
4. Check your device's storage space
